In order to enhance public understanding of the 2nd Hong Kong Games (the 2nd HKG), drum up the support of the residents of the 18 districts and strengthen their sense of belonging to the districts they live in, the Organiser is inviting members of the public to take part in the Voting for "My Favourite Sporty District" and Guess the "Overall Champion of the 2nd HKG" activities (voting and guess activities) specially held for the Games.

Voting for "My Favourite Sporty District"
The 18 District Councils will send teams to represent their respective districts in the Games. Members of the public are welcome to cast a vote for their favourite sporty district among the 18 districts. The winners will be selected by a Lucky Draw from those who have voted for the district with the highest number of votes.

Guess the "Overall Champion of the 2nd Hong Kong Games"
The district accumulating the highest scores from the six competitions in the 2nd HKG, namely athletics, badminton, basketball, table tennis, tennis and swimming, will win the "Overall Champion". Members of the public may make a guess at which of the 18 districts will win the supreme title. The winners will be selected by a Lucky Draw from those who have guessed correctly.

Entry Method:
All citizens holding a valid Hong Kong identity card are eligible to participate. There are no restrictions on age. Participants may obtain an entry form from the District Leisure Services Offices (DLSOs)/the sports centres under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). The completed form should be returned to any DLSO or sports centre. Participants may also click the button below "Starting Voting and Guess Activities" to join now.

Details of the Lucky Draw and the Prize Redemption:
The results of the voting and guess activities will be announced at the "Closing cum Prize Presentation Ceremony of the 2nd HKG" to be held on 31 May 2009. A Lucky Draw will be held to determine the list of winners. The results of the voting and guess activities and the list of winners will be available on the LCSD's website, Sing Tao Daily and Hong Kong Standard on 9 June 2009. (Information about the winners' names and Hong Kong identity card number (with the English letter and the first 4 digits) will be published.)
