Division and Event:

Men's Division (15 events in total)
Track Events
100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1 500 m, 5 000 m and 110 m hurdles

Field Events
High jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, javelin and discus

Relay Events
4x100 m relay and 4x400 m relay

Women's Division (15 events in total)
Track Events
100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1 500 m, 5 000 m and 100 m hurdles

Field Events
High jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, javelin and discus

Relay Events
4x100 m relay and 4x400 m relay

Quota:

Individual Events
Each district may nominate a maximum of 2 athletes per event; and each athlete may enter a maximum of 2 events, i.e. either 1 track and 1 field event, 2 field or 2 track events.

Relay Events
Each district may nominate a maximum of 1 team per event (each team consisting of 4 to 6 athletes).

Each district may nominate a maximum of 76 athletes, 1 368 athletes in total.

Age:

Participating athletes must be aged 10 or above (i.e. born in or before 2011), but those who take part in the 5 000 m event must be aged 16 or above (i.e. born in or before 2005).

Format:

Track and Relay Events

  • 8 athletes/teams with the best results in the preliminary rounds will be qualified for the finals and their positions will be determined by the results obtained in the finals ;
  • For the 1 500 m and 5 000 m events, only the finals will be held and athletes' positions will be determined by the results obtained in the finals.

Field Events
Each athlete shall be allowed 3 trials. The 8 athletes with the best valid performances shall be allowed 3 additional trials and their positions will be determined by the best results obtained.
