Apart from the inter-district sports competitions among the 18 districts, the 7th Hong Kong Games (HKG) scheduled for 2018 and 2019 includes an array of community participation activities, including "The 18 Districts' Pledging cum Cheering Team Competition".
Purpose
"The 18 Districts'Pledging cum Cheering Team Competition"marks the full support of relevant organisations as well as the readiness of athletes from 18 districts to strive for success in the Games. The Cheering Team Competition is aimed at encouraging members of the public to give active support to the athletes from the 18 districts and creating a cheerful atmosphere for the 7th HKG. It is an ideal community platform to showcase the local characteristics and vitality of the districts as well as to promote sporting culture.
